Some of you may have already noticed that our Commitee page has been updated, but for those of you who haven't we have great news!
Prior to launching the website and promoting the Awards, she had already joined us in some brainstorming sessions and her familiarity with fanvids is one of the reasons we have so many wonderful fanvid categories. However, due to a busy real life (RL) she felt it wouldn't be right to join the committee if she couldn't give it enough time and attention.
Now, a few weeks later, she has managed to get more involved and even created a wonderful trailer and vidlet to promote the fanfiction categories (and more will follow for the other two media)! Although her RL is still very busy she has found a way to fit the Awards into her schedule - something we're very happy about!

XFchemist has loved Stargate SG-1 since the first time she saw it on her TV in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, the show wasn't very popular in her country and the broadcast programming was awful, so it was some years later that she finally managed to watch the whole series. She discovered fandoms relatively late, in 2009, and shortly thereafter she started making fanvids. Through YouTube she met other shippers, joined Gateworld and became a fanfiction addict!
