As shippers we can't help but love Sam and Jack together, but we all have our favorite Stargate characters.  Some only read S/J fic, others like Daniel-centric or team adventures. And luckily, like fanfiction, there are as many different kinds of vids as there are vidders to make them.

Derivative works are difficult enough to write let alone to completely re-purpose someone else's edited video to create your own spin on well-loved characters; and yet, that's exactly what our incredibly talented vidders do.  Angst has always been one of the most popular emotions to portray, so it's no big surprise that the genre has bled into fan-made videos.
